Expand Internet coverage in B’fort, YB urges Telekom

BEAUFORT: Lumadan Assemblyman Ruslan Muharam urged Syarikat Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) to expand telecommunication coverage in the district, especially in Lumadan. 

He said this is important to ensure that the Government’s aspirations reach the grassroots.

“TM needs to plan so that every village in Beaufort, especially in Lumadan, has Internet network so that the residents have access to whatever information is provided by the Government,” he added.

He said about 40 villages are still without Internet access, which makes it difficult for the villagers to communicate.
