Marseille coach Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed interest in Napoli striker Arek Milik.
Milik will see his contract expire at the end of the season, but Napoli still want a fee between €15 and €18m to sell the former Ajax star in the January transfer window.
“We are interested but there are no advanced discussions with the club or the player," said AVB.
“We are not in advanced talks, [his signing] is not going to happen the next few days. It is an interest, which unfortunately appeared in the Italian press," he continued.
“Milik is not the only option. It's the toughest target, maybe, because he's an important player. It's not so simple to sign him."
