Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is carrying out mass screening on oil palm plantation workers to contain the spread of Covid-19.Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor (pic) said 1,160 estates were instructed to screen their respective employees within 30 days, starting Monday. “It involves 33,034 small oil palm plantations throughout the State with a total of 153,250 workers.
“For plantations that record Covid-19 positive cases, the Health Ministry will order the closure of operations to allow the implementation of preventive measures.
