Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he's yet to make a decision how Amad Diallo will join up.

The new signing qualifies for the U23s, though could immediately be added to the first team squad.

Solskjaer said, "He's still not been with us in the training group, it's the last bit of paperwork so he can come in, excited by all new players coming in.

"I've seen there's been lots of expectations on Amad and rightly so, an exciting player with fantastic attributes we look forward to developing and giving him the chance to succeed at Man United. It's important we give him hat time to settle in, if it's in the 23s for his first few games, or if looks so ready to go into the first team, I don't know yet."

Solskjaer also confirmed Facundo Pellistri is out of their FA Cup tie with Watford due to coronavirus protocols.

He added: "I think we've done well to follow the protocols as we have. We've had the odd case and Facundo Pellistri got a positive, so he reported that on his Twitter site. We don't normally comment on who they are but Facundo is well and hopefully he'll be back with us soon.

"He's been with the reserves and the 23s and he wasn't really in our group over Christmas. Apart from that, we have a full and fit squad."
