Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had to calm down his players at half-time of their clash with Burnley on Tuesday.

The match was evenly poised at the break after Burnley fought hard to keep a clean sheet against the visiting Red Devils.

Harry Maguire had a goal disallowed in the opening stanza, and Solskjaer admitted his players were angry in the dressing room.

"You've got to calm them down at half-time because emotions are running high because they disagree with the things that happen out there," Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

"So we have to take back control and we played really well in the second half and we held out at the end."
