Chelsea fullback Emerson Palmieri was delighted to start for their FA Cup defeat of Morecambe on Sunday.
Emerson admits they needed the win after a poor recent run of results as Chelsea hit four goals against their opponents at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian enjoyed the connection he struck with Callum Hudson-Odoi on the day and says the winger's style of game also suits him.
It was a rare outing for Emerson and he says he was happy to be rewarded for his hard work on the training pitch with selection on Sunday.
