Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi was full of praise for his players after the derby victory over Roma.
Lazio thumped Roma 3-0 on Friday.
“We put in a great performance, made of determination, aggression, pace and stamina. The lads were splendid, but I already saw yesterday that the look in their eyes was the right one, unlike some previous occasions," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
“The victory is hugely satisfying, we wanted it with all our strength and with the help of our wonderful fans, who came to the training ground today.
“It's true Lazio dropped points this season, but that's because we were playing every two-and-a-half days with numerous players out because of covid, we had 11-12 players for the trip to Brugge."
