Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin has hailed the impact of coach Davide Ballardini.
Genoa have picked up seven points in three League games, with three clean sheets in the process.
“I knew him, I knew what he could bring us," Perin said of Ballardini. “The results speak for him.
“We always give 100 per cent, those who work hard collect the results and we are doing it.
“At the beginning of the season with [Rolando] Maran on the bench, we lacked the competitive anger and the coach paid for it."
