Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is edging closer to a playing return.
The Ghana international returned from a month on the sidelines to feature in the north London derby with Tottenham on December 6, but broke down again with a recurrence of a thigh problem.
However, Partey is back on the training pitch and there is hope of the midfielder being fit for the FA Cup third round tie this week against Newcastle United.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta will make a call on this week's sessions - and as you can see Partey is looking in good shape.
