Kota Kinabalu: More than 30,000 companies in Malaysia have shut down operations since March last year and the job loss tally is close to 98,000 when the year ended. This year 2020 is seen by most in the business community as a year of cash flow and credit crunch as no fortune tellers at the end of last year 2019 had even predicted a Covid-19 global pandemic plague that has led to business lockdown and operational restrictions. Many businesses experienced major supply chain disruptions during shutdowns internationally and also in local markets, with falling customer numbers.

Not only that alone was disruptive, the change of government at the federal level and state level in Sabah made many to fear political instability.
