Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell says a swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard is a gamble.
The Norway international is set to join the Gunners on-loan to the end of the season.
Campbell told Metro: "There is a risk because you never know how he will react to playing in the Premier League."
He also said of Emile Smith Rowe's emergence: "The fact that Smith Rowe has done well so far is just a bonus. The guy is young and he will stall sooner or later, even though we do not want him to do it. Just watch the latest match against Crystal Palace. Then he was not as clinical as he has been in the other matches."
