Ajax have made an attempt to re-sign Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham.
That's according to De Telegraaf's Mike Verweij, while speaking on the newspaper's podcast.
He revealed: “Subsequently, an approach was made with the Davinson Sánchez area, whether he was open to it.
"But Spurs won't let anyone go; Not Sánchez and not (Toby) Alderweireld."
Sanchez joined Tottenham in 2017 from Ajax for a fee of €40m.
