Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish was seen clashing with Burnley coach Ian Woan after their dramatic 3-2 defeat at Turf Moor on Wednesday night.
Villa were handed their seventh loss of the season having twice taken the lead in Lancashire.
The Daily Star says Grealish was visibly seething at the full-time whistle and could even be seen rowing with Woan as they left the field.
Villa substitute Ahmed Elmohamady acted as peacemaker and pulled his team-mate away from the Clarets coach, before Dean Smith intervened to try and calm his star man down.
As Smith stepped in, Grealish even appeared to gesture angrily at his manager, who simply turned away and laughed.
