Liverpool are keen to send Sepp van den Berg away on-loan.
The centre-back has made four senior appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side since his £1.3m move from PEC Zwolle in the summer of 2019.
However, he has not featured this season despite the Premier League champions' ongoing injury problems in that position.
Goal reports the Reds are prepared to let him go this month, and discussions have taken place with clubs in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
They say that one club from the Belgian Pro League, one side from the 2.Bundesliga and one Swiss Super League outfit are in the mix to sign him having all held video calls with the defender.
It is believed that a deal for van den Berg to leave the club on loan could be agreed in the forthcoming week.
