Southampton midfielder Stuart Armstrong felt they could've done more in defeat at Leicester City.
Saints lost 2-0 on Saturday evening.
But Armstrong says: "It was disappointing to go in one down at half-time. We had a few chances. I think the game was evenly matched but they took their chance.
"The game at points was there for us but you expose yourself to conceding another at the end.
"There are positives to take from the game but it's disappointing to come away with nothing.
"There were options going forward. We created chances.
"We have got a lot of games coming up. We have a lot of young players - it's good to see them get game-time."
