Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter has urged Real Madrid striker Luka Modric to make a return to the Bundesliga club.
Jovic is expected to be available for loan this month.
Hutter said, "It is something that does not escape anyone.
"He is having a few minutes at Real Madrid and, surely, he would have nothing against returning to Frankfurt."
But he did admit Eintracht would need assistance from Real to cover the Serb's wages.
"It is correct what has been written about what Luka earns per year," he added.
