Star slams political heads over GE15 call

RANAU: Sabah Star Wiramuda Deputy Chief Kong Soon Choi (pic) slammed the call by some political leaders for the 15th General Election (GE15) to be held soon when the Covid-19 situation in the country is at a critical level.

He said it was not only irrelevant but also troublesome for the people.

“The call by some political leaders for the Prime Minister to hold a general election should not have happened in a situation when the country is struggling to contain the spread of Covid-19.

“What the people want now is the Government’s commitment to find a solution to reduce Covid-19 infections and get the people vaccinated to save their lives,” he said.
