Kota Kinabalu: Angkatan Perpaduan Sabah (APS), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), urged the Federal and State Government to get tough on illegal immigrants (PTI) in Sabah and make it part of the drastic measures to curbing Covid-19 pandemic.Its Vice President Paul Kadau (pic) also suggested the State Government include measures or plan on eradicating PTI in Sabah in the five-year Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Development Plan, which is expected to be launched end of this month. He said the Government must employ drastic measures to catch and deport illegal immigrants in the State and consider this part of the measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“It is much easier to control the movement of locals than PTI, who always move around and thus may fail the Government’s effort to effectively curb the spread of the pandemic.
