Fenerbahce are exploring the prospect to taking Mesut Ozil off Arsenal's hands this month.
With Ozil's deal to expire in June, Fener are open to taking the midfielder on-loan for the remainder of the season, reports Fanatik.
However, with the midfielder refusing to take a pay-cut, any deal will require Fener finding outside funding.
And the Turkish giants are now in process of securing sponsors to help bankroll the short-term deal. Fener have enjoyed previous success with such a strategy in their signing of Moussa Sow.
For his part, Ozil has already given Fener president Ali Koc a verbal commitment that he would be willing to move to Istanbul in 2021.
