Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists he won't push Mesut Ozil out the club.
However, speaking today, Arteta is hopeful of the player's future being settled soon.
He said, “Everyone at the club is having conversations about the near future and the long term future, and when we know something we will announce it."
Asked if he was keen for the situation to come to an end, Arteta said: "No, just so we can resolve the situation one way or another.
"It's always good to know what we are going to do and what is going to happen. I knew that when we made that decision the consequences that we could have.
"We still have to find the right solution for the player and the club. We have to try and do that and see where we get too."
