Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa denies he wants to see Tyler Roberts sold this month.

Wales striker Roberts is wanted by a clutch of clubs, including Bournemouth, Derby and Cardiff, and they would like to sign him on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Bielsa understands that Roberts may be disappointed to have made just three starts this season, but insists he still regards him as a key player.

“Tyler has always been in my plans," said the Leeds boss. “I value him from a footballing point of view and from a human aspect.

“He has an important role inside our team. It's true that he is having difficulty having continuity playing, but for me he's a player who is full of resources and is very important for us."
