West Brom have stepped up their interest in Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu.
Sky Sports says West Brom have enquired about the possibility of a deal for Yokuslu.
The 26-year-old has won 29 caps for his country. The Spanish club are reluctant to let him leave on loan - an option which Albion preferred.
An agreement at this stage looks unlikely, unless West Brom are prepared to compromise and accept either an obligation or option to buy Yokuslu in the future.
