Who is the mystery donor of RM10,000 Borenos meals?

Kota Kinabalu: A “mystery donor” donated Borenos Fried Chicken meals worth nearly RM10,000 to vulnerable groups in the State last year. 

The donor purchased a total of 585 meals for various homes in the State, including Rumah Bakti Harapan, Rumah Amal Kasih and Sabah Cheshire Home.

On the unusual order, Borenos Executive Director Janice Yeo, said:

“It is not uncommon for us to receive food orders from a handful of local philanthropists giving out free meals to the community. 

“However, this is the first time we encountered a large donation from a single anonymous entity to multiple organisations within a span of a few months.”
