Mesut Ozil's agent says the Arsenal playmaker is a Fenerbahce 'fanatic'.
The 32-year-old has not featured for the Gunners since March and will become a free agent once his contract expires at the end of the season.
Speaking in a Q&A session on Twitter this week, Ozil confirmed he would like to play for Fenerbahce or in MLS after leaving Arsenal.
And Ozil's agent, Erkut Sogut, is hopeful a deal will be completed for Ozil to move to the Turkish giants.
"Ozil is not an ordinary Fenerbahce supporter. He's a fanatic. He would only come to Turkey to play for Fenerbahce. I hope it will happen," Sogut told beIN Sports Turkey.
"This transfer needs a process. It would be wrong to say certain things before something happens, but I hope it will happen. I always say that. Everyone understands what Ozil wants to do after his latest tweets."
