Penyu sunrise and sunset views a boon

KUALA PENYU: This coastal district is famed for its sunsets and many don’t leave the place without having captured memorable pictures.

Susie Loh, one of the homestay operators at Sawangan beach, said no one would miss capturing the spectacular views of sunrise.

“Some even captured the milky-way moments on some good weather,” Susie said. “Some of the guests sent me photos of sunrise at different times by the minutes, they are all amazing, sunset at different angles and some moments the sky turned different colours too. 

“I had one guest who snapped the sky when it turned pinkish, I was speechless,” she said. Maya Kady was on her way back re-bonding the years of missing home in Kg Kiaru with her relatives, her uncle Kimloh Jungin and aunt Betty Tandek.
