Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg admitted frustration after defeat to Liverpool last night.
The Dane scored in the 3-1 defeat.
He posted to social media: "Yes, it was a hard night. I think the way we went into the match was positive. We had periods where we defended a little deeper and tried to counterattack. We had periods where we played a little higher and moved the ball from side to side to find the areas where we can hit them.
"I think we played the first 44 minutes quite well, but when you play against Liverpool and are half a step too slow, you will be punished. We want to be among the best, and here we played maybe against the best.
"When you make mistakes, you will be punished. Had we gone to the break with 0-0, then the second half would have been different."
