Aston Villa have joined the battle for Reading midfielder Michael Olise.
The Mirror says Villa are said to be keen on promising Reading midfielder Olise after the 19-year-old's key role in the Royals' fine first half of the season.
The attacking midfielder or winger has played for France at youth level and remains eligible to represent England or Nigeria.
Olise signed a three-year professional contract with the club in the summer after impressing in their academy and making a string of first-team appearances last season.
Villa boss Dean Smith has reportedly been given the green light to continue adding to his squad while market prices are lower than usual.
