Middlesbrough manager Nei Warnock is not sure if his club can secure the signing of Yannick Bolasie.
The Everton outcast wants regular first team football.
The 31-year-old is being linked with a move to Boro, but Warnock says he has not spoken with Bolasie in over a month.
The Middlesbrough manager remarked: "I'm still looking at wide players.
"I haven't spoken to Yannick for a month so there's nothing in that at the moment.
"I can't see it happening without me speaking to him."
When asked if the transfer was off, he added: "It's news to me - I didn't know it was on."
