Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos met with president Florentino Perez yesterday.
Quatro says Ramos and Florentino both were at Valdebebas on Tuesday to farewell the players for their trip to Italy ahead of meeting Champions League opponents Atalanta.
Ramos is recovering from knee surgery and so is out of the game, but he was at the training centre to wish his teammates well.
While new contract talks continue to stall, Ramos and Florentino were seen in friendly conversation, though the state of negotiations weren't mentioned.
However, it's suggested both men believe the longer things run without Ramos committing to another club the better the chance of a new deal with Real being settled.
