David Alaba intends to leave Bayern Munich to play in a different position.
The Austria international has announced he will leave Bayern when his contract expires at the end of the season.
And with Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG among clubs keen the Telegraph's Matt Law reports Alaba doesn't wish to be signed as a defender.
Law said on the London is Blue podcast: "According to a very good source, Alaba wants to go to a club which will give him the opportunity to play as a midfielder."
The 28 year-old plays regularly in midfield for Austria.
