Kota Kinabalu: A 40-year-old federal government servant claimed trial in the Special Corruption Court here Monday to 11 charges of abusing his public office for gratification by giving contracts worth a total of RM36,617.20 to his mother’s company. Mohd Hizan Laliman, a National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) information technology assistant officer, was charged under Section 23(1) of the MACC Act 2009.
