Brighton boss Graham Potter admits there's some frustration after their 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.
Brighton dominated the game, but couldn't find a way past Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Potter said, "Frustrating but pleasing because the performance was very good and we did everything but score. We had shots, had attacks and reduced Villa's attacking players. We are disappointed with just the one point.
"Their goalkeeper made some really good saves and has been an important player for them, that is football but the overall performance we had enough shots, attacks and go's at them to score, just not that last little luck you need.
"They have been really good, the team have been taking steps forward and results help that. Our performances over the course of the season have not been that inconsistent but we have results to go with that recently. That is good for us.
"The guys felt they were the better team in the game and the one team that was going to win it. I cannot remember them having any chances or efforts at goal so we were solid defensively.
"I have not thought about it (points tally), I have only thought about the next match and hopefully that level of performance gets you points. This league is so punishing."
