Pitas folks yearn for a fire station

PITAS: The 40,000 people residing in a 1,419 sq km area fear most when there is a fire as they are dependent on the Kota Marudu Fire and Rescue Station located more than 50km away.

There were two cases of house fires within a week, one in Jalan Dandun on Feb 8 and another in Jalan Kelumpang, Pekan Lama on Feb 11.
