Welcoming the advice from the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong that Parliament can sit during the current state of Emergency, Upko President Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau (pic), Deputy President Senator Datuk Donald P Mojuntin and Vice President Datuk Ewon Benedick, in a joint statement, said the State Legislative Assembly should also reconvene.
