Raw material, labour key challenges: STIA

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Timber Industries Association (STIA) hopes the timber and forest sector will be able to overcome obstacles that lay ahead, despite 2020 being one of the most challenging years.

Its President Tan Peng Juan (pic) called on industry players to continue being resilient and maintain focus in working together with the Government to develop the timber industry although it has experienced a decline in almost all sectors for 2020, in terms of performance.
