The owner of Suning has cast doubt on their future with Inter Milan.
While not naming the Serie A giants specificially, Zhang Jindong has announced Suning Group will be pulling back from several investments.
"We will have to focus on the main battlefield," explained Zhang.
"Work in subtraction, redraw the battle line. We will focus on retail with resolution, we will close and cut our irrelevant activities in favour of retail without hesitation."
Suning have reportedly been inviting fresh investment for Inter for several months.
