Kota Kinabalu: A Kembara vehicle burst into flames near Imago Shopping Mall, here, Tuesday. It is learnt that the driver was heading towards the city centre when the 4.16pm incident occurred. The driver escaped unscathed.
The engine compartment of the car also escaped the flames, however the rear side was completely razed. Firefighters led by Zainudin Saidi managed to bring the fire under control within 15 minutes.
