Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was delighted with recent signing Ozan Kabak.
The central defender put in an assured display as the Reds won 2-0 against RB Leipzig in their first leg of the round of 16 clash in the Champions League.
Kabak recovered from a poor display against Leicester City in the Premier League at the weekend.
Klopp told reporters post-game: "After such a long time with Schalke, he was new to that and I think his attitude was good.
"Very happy with his performance.
"And Hendo can play the position perfectly.
"It's not that Leipzig didn't have a chance, Ali also had to intervene in two or three things, but that's normal.
"Overall, I can say I'm very pleased with the whole performance."
