Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has left the door open to bringing back Karim Benzema from Real Madrid.
Benzema has a deal to 2022 at Real and confidants say the French striker wants to play again for OL before he retires.
Aulas told RMC: "I know that there were contacts last year with Juni (Juninho, the sporting director, former Benzema teammate in Lyon).
"So far, I haven't had word with Karim. This being the case, if it were possible, obviously solutions would be found which would make it possible to do so.
"It would be a dream for all of our supporters. He shouldn't come too late. Why not? It all depends, I think, on the results in Madrid."
