Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti admits Ben Godfrey surprised him during victory over Leeds United.
The summer signing from Norwich City was one of Everton's best players as they played out an important victory over Marcelo Bielsa's side.
The boss said: "Ben Godfrey played really, really well as a centre back.
"I am really, really surprised about his performances because all the time he's always there, playing 100%.
"He's fast, he's intelligent, he's strong. I'm really pleased, really pleased."
