7,889 in Tongod get food baskets

TONGOD: A total of 7,889 households under the B40 category in Tongod will receive food basket assistance from the State Government.

The assistance in the form of food items was symbolically presented by Sabah Housing and Town Development Board Chairman Datuk Masiung Banah to 42 chairmen of Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK), representing all villages in the district at the Tongod Open Hall, Wednesday.
