Manchester United winger Daniel James was delighted with their Europa League victory over Real Sociedad.
The Wales winger rounded off an outstanding European night for the Reds as he found the back of the net from a tight angle in the 90th minute to make it 4-0 against La Real.
“It's a great result for us, especially away from home," he told MUTV.
“We knew it was going to be difficult with them sometimes having a lot of the ball but we knew there would be big spaces in behind and that's what we capitalised on today.
"It was a great joy. Sometimes, it can be frustrating when they have a lot of the ball but we just had to be patient. We knew that as soon as we win it back, we got to move forward. They played a high line and we just had to exploit that really."
The goalscorer then went on to praise the attacking quality in the Reds' squad after the high-scoring performance.
“It's wonderful to play with all these players," he added. “Everyone's got there own style of play but we all work well together."
