Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden matched a Premier League record with victory over Tottenham.
For all the criticism from outside City of Pep Guardiola's handling of Foden's development, he recently passed 100 appearances for City in all competitions, with this Spurs win his 59th appearance in the top flight.
With that win, the 20-year-old has equalled the record for the fastest time to reach 50 wins in the Premier League as a player.
And he doesn't have to look too far for the player he now holds the record with, as Aymeric Laporte was the previous outright holder of the particular record after his superb start to life in England after joining in 2018, reports the Manchester Evening News.
