Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has defended Thiago Alcantara from criticism he received at the weekend.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville was critical of Thiago last weekend, saying he was damaging the Reds' style of play.
He felt the Spaniard took too long on the ball, unlike the usual Liverpool style under Klopp of quick passing and counter attacks.
"The situation is far from perfect, injured, ill, but not too important any more," said Klopp of Thiago to reporters.
"We and he had to learn how to play without changing everything.
"He was 6 at Bayern but we decided to adapt his position a bit. Worked out well. Stability, we can use his skills."
