Manchester United are being linked with RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate.
United are in the market for a centre-half signing as they seek a long-term defensive partner for captain Harry Maguire.
The Independent says their search has led to Konate, who has been linked with several English clubs this season.
The 21 year-old has a contract with RBL to 2023.
United have also been watching Sevilla's young French defender Jules Kounde in recent weeks.
