Everton striker Domnic Calvert-Lewin admits he gets a lot of confidence from manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Calvert-Lewin has been in sensational form this season, scoring 12 goals in the league so far.
He was once again on target as the Toffees emerged with a hard fought 2-1 win at Leeds United on Wednesday.
"It was a massive three points for us," said Calvert-Lewin to the club website after the game.
"We want to stay well up there and compete for the top four. After the last game [a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United], we wanted to put it right.
"It was important we put in a good performance and that led to the three points tonight.
"We knew they play so high tempo and it's different to what you play against most weeks.
"We had to match them man for man, win our individual battles, and the rest takes care of itself.
"It is tough. It's a grind at times but that's why it takes the full team to commit fully to what you're trying to do.
"The manager demands high standards. We'll be looking forward to Saturday [against Manchester United] and continuing the momentum."
