Kota Kinabalu: The owners of several lorries and vehicles parked in an open area at Jalan Megah, Kolombong, were given an anti-litter compound and notice by the City Hall Building Control Department, Friday.

Mayor Noorliza Awang, when contacted, said the inspection was conducted by officers from the Enforcement Department, Building Control Department and Environmental Health Department at 2.30pm.

“There were vehicles being repaired in the housing and reserved open space.

“However, upon action, the owner apologised and asked to be given some time to move the lorries and vehicles parked to a new workshop in Jalan Kionsom, Inanam which is still not fully completed due to the Movement Control Order (MCO),” she said.
