Everton defender Ben Godfrey is amazed by the intensity of assistant manager Duncan Ferguson.
Godfrey was speaking with Rio Ferdinand's Youtube channel.
He revealed, "I've only had one kiss off him and that was this weekend – I'll accept it, it was a big day [the Merseyside derby win at Anfield].
"He is mad, I don't know how to describe him. How he was as a player, is how he is now. He's just 100mph at everything – whether it's a passing drill or he's saying hello to you in the morning.
"It's just like, everything he does is massive! But he's a good character to have around and he expects high standards. So, not only is he a good guy but he makes sure things are right on the pitch – he's a good coach.
"The boss is chill, relaxed but Dunc would scream at you if something isn't right – his head will go a little bit. You need that balance though, he's good to have around.
"I'd never met him before I came to Everton so I didn't know what he was like, but I have a lot of time for him."
