Manchester City captain Fernandinho says the locker room would welcome Lionel Messi with open arms.
The Barcelona captain is a summer target for City, with the Argentine's deal to expire in June.
Fernandinho told The Citizens Brasil: “Everyone would like to have (Lionel) Messi on their team.
"Messi is the kind of player who would have room in any team in the world."
For his part, Fernandinho also comes off contract at the end of the season.
