Lazio are set to pass on signing Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.
Corriere dello Sport says Lazio are unlikely to make Pereira's loan deal permanent this summer.
Pereira has played 523 minutes of football spread over 20 appearances for Simone Inzaghi's side, but most of those have come from the bench.
Inzaghi has struggled to find a place for the attacking midfielder, who “will have wondered several times why he was chosen" considering that the club's “tactical design doesn't foresee his use".
Lazio have an option in their loan deal to sign Pereira at the end of the season, but it seems like that is on the cards.
